Dr Akinola Oduntan

Dr Akinola Oduntan is a Specialist Neurosurgeon at Melomed Private Hospitals with consultation rooms at Melomed Tokai and Melomed Gatesville.

Dr Oduntan obtained his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Pretoria in 2009. He entered the registrar program at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital & Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in 2014 and completed his Masters of Medicine in Neurosurgery from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 2018. Dr Oduntan interned at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, Pretoria and Groote Schuur hospital in Cape Town, and did his community service as a Medical Officer at Warmbaths Hospital in Bela Bela. Dr Oduntan also completed his specialist qualification with a Fellowship in Neurosurgery in 2018.
